CASTNESS and Roma maps

Please find here attached a few maps of Roma and the University zone.

Map reading instructions:

• in the center of the first map you find the "termini" railway stations. At termini station, 2 lines of underground (Metro A and Metro B) plus the train coming from the airport "Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino2 cross.
• metro stations are indicated by M on red background (Metro station).
• NE from termini, there are 3 large blocks of buildings marked with a green background:
  • the "Castro Pretorio" block (it hosts the National library and a few army barracks): the underground line b has a Metro station there.
  • the "Policlinico" block (University hospitals): another Metro - line B station there.
  • the "Città Universitaria" block: the main entrance ot the University City is on the W side. The boundary of the Physics Department building, named G. Marconi is marked in blue on the map.
